   Welcome !

We encourage you to take a moment and learn more about Little Creek Lambs, our approach to raising production based, healthy, naturally raised sheep and learn all about our other unique farm and wool products.

Our Little Creek wool products have grown from just raw wool a few years ago into three unique and diverse products. Currently, we are offering yarn, felt handbags, custom dog coats, and coming soon needle felting batts by the ounce Each and every product is made from our own fiber grown here on our farm in Eastern Oregon. Visit my wool products page to learn more and to see all of our available items.

Our breeding focus is to provide practical breeding stock for the Commercial and Purebred Sheep Producer. We value production data, and use it extensively in managing our flock. Many of our rams/ewes for sale are measured for loineye circumference, backfat, and rate of gain. When you purchase Little Creek breeding stock you can buy on more then just looks alone. How could these important traits affect the quality of lambs in your flock? Check out this Heritability Chart from the Sheep Production Handbook.

We also have sheep listed for sale and usually have sheep for sale by private treaty.  If you are looking for either ewes or rams, take a look at what we have to offer or contact us for package sale opportunities and available transportation/delivery.
Along with our Texel flock, we also have a  Commercial Flock of Dorsets and Percentage Dorset Texels. This cross has proven to be a great combination of  muscle from the Texel and increased frame, and out of season breeding ability from the Dorset. This is a super blend with a whole bunch of hybrid vigor to boot. Visit the  Dorset X Texel sheep page for pictures and more info.
Health Info About Our Farm:
To maintain a "clean" flock we closed our flock as of 2002, and are only adding select rams to our flock to keep our gene pool diverse. We enrolled into the Volunteer Scrapie Program in December of 2000 (OR59) and became Certified Scrapie free in the Spring of 08.

Our Feeding Philosophy:
Our sheep are raised on pasture/range conditions. We raise and believe in sheep that can gain and maintain on forage feeds rather then high concentrate expensive grain feeds. We do not believe in "show style" sheep that are raised artificially on "complete" feeds  in small confined pens and never taste green grass.
