We currently have a Purebred flock of Dorset ewes. Most all of these select ewes came from Ankeny Acres out of Nampa, Idaho. We have recently added a Purebred Dorset ram "Foster" also from Ankeny Acres. This ram lamb is one of the few  AI sired rams from "Benchmark" a top indexing ram from Victoria, Australia. We will have both his sire Benchmark and Foster's growth data, pictures, and loineye measurements updated on our Flock Sire page as soon as we get them. Stay tuned for some awesome purebred Dorset lambs in 07.

    Over the past few years we have been crossing our Ankeny bred Dorset ewes, with our Texel rams  and have been very impressed. With this unique cross we are providing our customers with replacement ewes that cycle a bit earlier and longer for out of season lambing opportunities. And rams that produce lambs that add muscle volume to market lambs. We have been so impressed that we have retained many of the ewe lambs and put them into production.
