I design and hand piece each one of my purses in my sewing studio here on the farm. Each one is constructed of wool felt that is carefully sheared and processed from my very own flock's fibers into soft beautiful felt fabric. I am striving to create classic, but casual designs that use all natural fibers from beginning to end. I am using made in the USA fabrics such as Pendleton Mills woolen fabrics, pure natural cotton, linen, and silk fabrics to line the interiors of each design. Each individual piece I create truly has come from the heart of our farm. From winter snows, to summer heat, each fleece sheared reflects a year in the life of our ewes. My line of all natural, renewable, eco friendly, handbags truly celebrates the unique way that sheep provide us with this fabulous fiber called wool. Currently retailing my handbags at "The Sheep Shed" located on Main Street in Joseph Oregon

Because I love wool, I have paired my aprons with a matching wool felt hot pad. One side is insulating wool felt and the other is a quilted cotton square. These are easily washed in the machine but make sure to line dry. The apron is reversible and has a coordinating pocket on each side. I made the ties nice and long for easy use. And the top flips over your head with nothing to tie. The apron measures 26 inches from the top of the bodice to the hem. The hot pad is a nice 8 inches square to fit in your hand. ****If you would like to purchase one of my Sheepwagon Aprons please visit my Etsy Store

In 2009 I joined
a small Border Leicester farm flock Co-op called "Warm Woolens".
By collectively pooling are natural colored Border Leicester
fiber together we are able to produce these one of a kind
blankets. All the fiber in the blankets are from our flocks and
are woven in a mill for us located in Massachusetts, truly a
made in the USA product! This year I am offering the throw
blanket size which measures 45"x60" . Each year a unique weave
pattern is chosen. The 2010 pattern is pictured at either side;

| You may ask how do you take care of /wash your new purchase? Easy. Wool felt has been used by man for over 8,000 years!! so you will have no problem with its easy care: Step 1 Take out all of your "stuff" nothing like a wet phone to ruin your day. Step 2 fill your sink with warm water and you can use your favorite laundry detergent, about a teaspoon or so, if it is a liquid, and place your bag in the soapy water to soak for a few minutes. (If you find that you have a stain or two feel free to use a spray and wash type pre treatment) Just don't use any bleach !! this will weaken the fiber on the felt and will probably leave unfavorable marks on the lining fabric. Step 3 drain the soapy water and roll your wet purse up like a jelly roll, squeezing out the water as you go. Don't wring it out or twist it, this can leave lines in the felt. Step 4 refill the sink with warm water and let soak to rinse out the soap. Then repeat step 3. Step 5 place a towel in your purse to soak up any extra moisture and to give your bag a "form" as it dries. Hang or lay your bag flat to dry. That's it, put your stuff back in and off you go.... If you find you get some "fuzzies" forming on the bag simply trim them off, like you would a wool sweater. | ||
